How to Navigate our Web Site Located at the left hand side of your screen, you will find the menu panel. This is divided into three sections, the Shopping cart, the Product Search and the Menu of Categories. When searching for a product you can type in the product description or choose the appropriate category then follow the trail through. At the top of the panel is the shopping cart with a tally of the items ordered along with the total cost (not including freight). How to Place an Order As you progress through our online catalogue, you will see on the pages describing individual items, a small grey box located in the top right hand side. This box gives you the price of the item, product number and the opportunity for you to add it to your shopping cart purchases. Double click on the quantity field and type in the number you would like to order, then either hit the “Buy Me” button or press 'Enter' on your keyboard. This will transfer your order into the shopping cart. The quantity will return to zero and the number will have been added to the top left-hand corner tally. Progress through the remainder of the web-catalogue, adding purchases as you go. Once you have completed ordering what you require, you need to click onto the shopping cart ( top left-hand corner) to review your order and make any alterations by simply double clicking on the quantity box and changing the number. When satisfied with your order, click on the “Update Cart” button then on the “Check-out” button, which takes you to a form to fill in your details. Please provide all details including delivery address, phone and e-mail contact as these will be required for us to confirm your order. Then hit 'Continue'. You will again be shown a full list of what you have ordered and the total amount. You will notice that Freight is shown as T.B.A. (To Be Advised). Then select the shop you prefer – either Miner's Den Melbourne or Miner's Den Sydney, to send you the goods. Tradition would have customers in New South Wales, Queensland and Nth Territory supplied from Sydney and customers in Victoria, Tasmania, Sth Australia, Western Australia and New Zealand supplied from Melbourne. You have the option to change this if you have previously dealt with or have a preferance for either store. There is then a section for you to put in any extra comments, delivery instructions, special contact details, etc. and then submit the order. On receipt of your order, our staff will contact you with a firm quote on freight and arrange for your payment by credit card, cheque, money order, C.O.D. (through Australia Post) or by directly depositing money into our account (contact us for details). Please allow 7 days for clearance of personal cheques. Back to Home |
