Weigh larger gold finds and prospecting samples with the Miners Den Digital Gold Prospecting Scales. The 3kg capacity provides more room for heavier items, while the display reads in 0.1g increments. USB charging makes it convenient to recharge the scales between uses.

More capacity for larger finds

Two plastic weighing trays help contain loose material. Place an empty tray on the scales and use the tare function before adding your sample, so the displayed weight excludes the tray.

Choose from grams, pounds, ounces, troy ounces, pennyweight, grains and carats. The blue backlit LCD makes the displayed weight easy to read.

Useful everyday features

• Rechargeable design with USB charging
• 3kg maximum capacity with 0.1g display increments
• Tare function for weighing contents in a tray
• Automatic weight lock
• Auto-off and low-battery indication
• Two plastic weighing trays

Getting a useful reading

Place the scales on a firm, level surface away from wind and vibration. Follow the supplied operating and calibration instructions, and keep the combined weight of your tray and contents within the 3kg capacity, even when using tare.

The 0.1g figure describes the display increments; it is not a guarantee of accuracy within 0.1g or a minimum measurable weight.

Weighing smaller gold finds?

If finer display increments matter more than capacity, consider the 200g / 0.01g scales or the 50g / 0.001g scales.
